A banshee is a spirit of vengeance that haunts the grounds with which the soul was killed, often in a vicious and malevolent way. The spirit roams the land in an endless fit of depression, sobbing loudly. Upon seeing or feeling the presence of the living the banshee unleashes it’s rage upon the victim.
