Mandrake

The mandrake is a collection of bulbous roots entangling a main bulb that had the features of a humanoid baby with a shrubby sprout coming from the top of it’s head. Mandrakes will burrow into the ground to camouflage themselves while they sleep and when awakened they create a piercing screech and use their root system to crawl around and latch onto whoever disturbed them.
